Why is this forum even more lively now that everyone left?
It's like a forest fire, the old trees grow, become knarled and bitter, suffocating all other attempts for new plants to grasp the sunlight. Then the forest fire comes, sweeping away everything, silence and death is all left. New plants can grow without stale old tyrants blocking their path, and a new golden age awaits.
I'll be waiting, I remember especially enjoying reading the forum around 9/11.
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars

That's very poetical FM. What brought this on? Have you fallen in love?
Victor Meldrew suits you down to the ground Aggie. I hear Big Sam has his eyes on the league cup?

Yeah
At least we finally have ownership and a manager who realize that building a championship team takes years of work, and cannot be done merely by buying a ridiculously expensive forward every two or three seasons.
Having said that, Owen and Viduka look to be a pretty decent partnership, although historically all our problems have been at the other end (with the notable exception in the last 30 years of Shay Given).

Not really, don't think I would be lurking here if I was. Anyway things become seriously stale when the main topic of conversation in thread after thread seems to end up being the soap opera de jour. Please entertain me better in my semi-perverted voyeurism.

Get used to it. We expect you to be the new Asher.

"Capitalism ho!"
But the best entertainment is never meant as it though. With people leaving it means more focus will be shifted onto the topics and less from the posters discussing eachother and their interaction over the last half decade. It can only be a good thing, sure most active posters that leave will say "I'm leaving because this forum has gotten boring and it used to be such and such".
More likely that they are the one's that have changed and find it more fitting to place the reason on the forum rather than themselves.
