        I'm shocked and outraged!

It should have been a pardon!!

Libby unnecessarily put his boss in a bind, so he doesn't get much sympathy from me. Normally, a loyal lieutenant who fell on his sword would be pardoned. This action makes it appear that Bush will not pardon Libby.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Doing anything else would have been disgraceful.

I don't think any normal person ever cared in the first place, or even understood why anyone else cared.

Bush just shot his own party in the foot with this one. Real conservatives don't like criminals getting off easy.

they were outraged over the Rich pardon, and so was I... Clinton took a bribe and Bush covered corruption, that aint why the Framers gave the Prez the power to pardon people. The 2 parties make me sick
