I am more afraid of lightning strikes than shark attacks. Both fears are at a level to make them irrelevant.

I know I won't get a bottle of Everclear through the security at a concert, so I don't try.

          Cars, disease, wasps, goverment, terrorists.

I'm not afraid of clowns, though. Is it just me, or is it no longer fashionable to feign a fear of clowns? Discuss.

What exactly are you asking proof for?

I was watching some programme last night that made reference to clown porn. Very disturbing.....

If clown porn disturbs you, then you really can't say that you've experienced the internet to it's fullest.

I'm not sure which list is longer, this or this.

Some highlights: Xylophilia, Telephone Scatologia, Katoptronophilis, Forniphilia, Apotemnophilia.

The fun part is trying to figure out what they mean based on linguistics alone.

I would rather live in blissful ignorance of the internet at it's fullest.

The US government is far more dangerous, and far more capable of causing harm, than terrorists.
I'm pretty sure they're better at fearmongering too.

So your argument is that since people are coming to America, the American government has done nothing wrong?

I have 0 fear of terrorists, because there are no terrorists where I live, but if I lived in Israel or the USA or Spain (due to ETA and the islamists) or England as we have seen this week, I would fear terrorists more.

I have little fear of the USA gov, since now in Iraq and Afghanistan they seem rather powerless, and the hands of the USA are tied with the middle east, so they cant do much elsewhere.
