Well, it is a bit weird that it actually only burned since it was an american car - maybe it has been in europe so long that it has started to act like normal cars

I was just wondering today why the terrorists haven't tried anything in Scotland, since Scots aren't bomb-savvy like Londoners are. Since this took place in Glasgow, England, it seems like Scotland's off the hook yet again.

Scotland is clearly part of (and subservient to) England, so the thread title is totally correct.

I really can't stand this exaggeration anymore. If I wanted to I could go buy four propain tanks at the gas station right now, drive it up to any building I want, shoot the tanks and commit the same "attack."

You would have thought a nuclear bomb went off. CNN is interviewing people at LAX and asking if they are going to cancel their flights. Over a ****ing burning car in Scotland?!?!?!

Seems to be a far bigger deal there than where it happened.

"The guy was in flames and seemed to be enjoying himself," Kennedy said.
                        That's pretty surreal.

A burning car in Glasgow? They should visit Dagenham, they have no shortage of them

Just out of curiosity - how many said they would cancel ?

I would have thought those that cancelled (if any) would not be at the airport to answer the question.

What terror alert level are we up to now?
