It's an insult to women that the candidate who may be elected to the Presidency got there because of her husband. At least Geraldine Ferraro, who could've been a heartbeat away. earned it and didn't have a spouse's political machine to grease the wheels for her. If Hillary was serious, she would've went back to Illinois and duked it out with Dick Durbin or Obama for the Fitzgerald seat.
In our era, it is highly unlikely that a woman would not have benefited from her husband's connections. For example, Senator Olympia Snowe got her political boost from her marriages to Republican state (Maine) legislator Peter Snowe and Maine Governor, John McKernan. Yet no one says what a shame it was that this Senator got there because of her marriages.
For all the talk of gender equality, 30+ years ago (when some of these candidates would enter politics), women were not considered equals to men, and they had to use their husband's or their father's political connections to get ahead. Some clawed their way up by themselves, like Ferraro, but let's not be all high and mighty about the fact that Hillary Clinton used her husband's connections.
Also, one can make the argument that the Clintons were very much a team and Bill Clinton may have never gotten as far as he did without Hillary Clinton's work.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Hillary is a pandering, flip-flopping, focus grouping triangulator of the worst kind. I rember reading how back in the 70s she supported "Childrens Rights," 15 years later she was doing just the opposite.
How so? And don't bring up something about video games.

all I want is universal health care, is that so hard?
Yes, it is. The Republicans fought tooth and nail to keep the Clintons from issuing anything close to universal healthcare during Bill's term. Even if Hilary is elected, don't expect to see this issue changed unless there are much less Republicans in Congress, which could be possible.

Everyone has to stand behind every law review article they ever wrote, no matter how politically infeasible it is. Right?
