You'd have to be stupid not to ban someone who violated federal law and put the site in potential legal trouble.

When have I ever asked for a member to be banned before? I've never even reported anyone. The only reason I'm telling you to ban Oerdin now is because it's the smart course of action. You can't let a death threat against the Vice-President go unpunished; it makes you look like you condone the act.

Your actions do the same. Some of your posts, like the one in this thread, are violent. Some are just highly personal and militant, like what you said about Drake in the post before this one. And now that I think about it, Ann Coulter just a few days ago had said openly on Chris Matthew's Hardball that she wished John Edwards had been assassinated.

That was in response to Bill Maher saying Cheney should be killed in a terrorist attack and the lack of media attention he got. So she said it about Edwards and got the expected response from the media. Coulter is exposing media hypocrisy with such comments.

He was arrested for criticizing the VP, which got conflated into an accusation of "assaulting" the VP in the course of a few minutes.

Now stuff like that pisses me off, if Cheney did that he should
be.....

As for Cheney defying Congress and an executive order, how else can he challenge what he considers an infringement on his office? I dont have a problem with that...
