Here's my scenerio:

A United Scandinavian Front (USF) picking off random ex-soviet territories,

inferiorating the Russians who threaten Germany for not supporting them in an effort to stop the USF

Germans, who out of a knee-jerk reaction accidentally attacks Poland,

to which the USF replies with "ni dinorken boodin knockin!" (which of corse translates to "Hey, Lego my Ego!") and attacks Holand why launching a full fledge seige agains the Germans in Poland, backed by Russia due to a pact that would annex the stolen lands back

France surrenders

Belgium, Spain, and the UK join forces to attack USF after a USF boat got lost and ended up in British waters

Italy, feeling left out, attacks Austria, who is all like "WTF Italy, I didn't do nothing to you"

The World Cup is cancled

Hasselhoff announces he will be going on tour

World Peace Ensues

Good luck in holding Greenland with a few battalions. A similar Danish invasion force could easily be inserted by submarines even if you held all the airbases.

You can insert them, but you can't feed or supply them that way.

As Denmark already owns Greenland and would reenforce it in case of war threaths, that problem is on your side rather than theirs, anyway.
