          Physicists like to belittle and bash us biologists. Oh well, we will always remember it was a physicist (Lord Kelvin) that kept saying the Earth was too young for Darwinian Evolution and Uniformitarianism to be correct. Biologists and geologists knew better. Then there was loony Fred Hoyle, who though he knew biology better then the biologists (and thought Archeopteryx was a hoax) .

                • I would have to say Philosophy is the most respected. Unfortunately that was not a choice so I had to choose economics.

                  Mathematics does not get much of my respect because most of what can be done with math can be done faster by computers.
