this actually happened in a chat room i used a few years ago. My handle was MOD and i acted like a ghetto-thug-gangsta type poster. It got to the point that girls would call me and want to see me and have sex with me and everything (i am QUITE serious). I was a damn celebraty there. It got to the point though where i could not control my creation. I simply could not keep living up to peoples expectations of MOD and the "character" they intended him/me to be. It finally turned out to where MOD was a completey different person than me.

Thats kind of how i feel about AAHZ now. I went back to Bauzer mostly to re-connect with my roots and to just try to act like myself. But every time i type on here i tend to shift back to that chat-fighting, swear-word hurling, temper-losing, crazy son of a gun. It gets to the point where people STILL call me AAHZ on here.

I, quite honestly, dont think I can control the AAHZ "character" anymore and i am re-living the whole MOD scenario all over again. and believe me when i say that i made a COMPLETE jackass out of myself in the final days as MOD.

I TRY to just act like myself but that just it. AAHZ IS a part of who I am. but only a PART. MOD is also a part of who i am as well. I also have many, many more parts to me. Bauzer is older than them all, but i never really have defined a "character" for him, ironically. He was always just a generic ass-kicker in D&D. I dont have split personalities or anything like that but I DO find myself acting one type of "role" or another in all aspects of life. then, however, i am "stuck" in that role and if i act any differently i get strange looks and comments and everybody expects me to fit back into my role. AAHZ in this case.

So if effect have I just become a character? are we all characters in a certain way? Do we ALL have expectations of eachother? Is it this way in ALL social circles with EVERYBODY?

please no flaming in this thread i actually want to have a discussion here...

Any who would those posers be? I believe any who post here regulary will ultimately create a public image/personality. It might be real(as I would agrue mine is) or it might be a creation(as you say your are).

But, I do not think you should change back to AAHZ if you feel it's not you. I believe you will be much better off by being yourself on the internet, roles just make trouble, as you yourself have seen.
