Mike, a typhoon tower has a smaller range but it still hits from the second row. Plus, it does more damage and fires a lot faster.

You need both, but you have underestimated the power of rushing groups of creeps into the paths of your upgraded dart towers. Once you have 3 or 4 groups of creeps in one small space the dart tower is awesome. And then your typhoon towers can finish the weakened creeps off. It's easy to win with Typhoons, it's not easy to get a high score.

Alright tried something new.



Using MightyTiny's basic map, I moved the squirt towers forward a row, and then sandwiched a row of bash towers between the two rows of squirt towers.

The stun effect of the bash towers freezes the badies in place, letting my overlaping squirt towers cut them to pieces. I try putting then on the end of the interior walls too, as there is more open area for the bash towers to hit at once.

Bash towers are cheap, and since there is a whole row chances are one of then will stun a group of badies. Plus the dish out decent damage at level 3.

I'm having trouble with level 48 which has been distracting many of my towers from level 49.

I think I'm going to use this guy's set up. I won't waste money on to big a maze and instead just keep upgrading a few cannons so I do max damage.

My current plan on Hard is just to totally ignore level 49, as soon as I've destroyed 42 I scrap my swarms and pump the money into typhoons, accept I'm going to lose on 49 and rush them as soon as the level 48 guys come past.

If you mess that up, you can hit backspace to go back to the submission page and submit it again, it'll remove it from the group you mistyped and put it in the correct one.

The current one i'm working on is a feeder maze that feeds both groups at the same speed into a 'mouth' with several bashers at the front, dart towers to either side (off the maze frontline), and then squirters in a row right after the bashers. Basically everything except immune gets reamed by the dart/basher combo, and the immune hopefully die to the squirters. It worked beautifully in Fun 10k gold mode, but Immune causes tons of problems for it in real mode in the mid 20s (before I can get typhoons out). In theory it should allow for a very small and tight maze, though, as the dart/basher damage is HUGE and a lot of the guys get stuck up when there are four or five bashers to stick someone up with.
