So far only 2000-odd, at the easy level... got quite some good skills at maze building, but still have to find a good equlibrium between building new towers and upgrading old ones. Knowing how powerful they become I shall put more weight into upgrading now.Comment

I got my best score so far (6308) with a surpricingly small maze, and relatively few fully upgraded towers.
Though I suspect that to improve on that, I need to employ another strategy - a long maze with a centralized killzone... but again, concentrating on upgrading towers rather than adding them.Only the most intelligent, handsome/beautiful denizens of apolyton may join the game :)Comment

You can beat normal by basically just using pellets and upgrading them to Sniper towers (final upgrade). The ones that will get you are the planes (working on that).Originally posted by Ecthy

On medium with the two streams, I block off the two entry points so that both streams are funneled into the upper left corner, then just make up and down corridors the length of the field.
Four AA towers in the middle make short work of the air baddies, though I still haven't shot down one of those air bosses.
Always get above 4000.
The trick, or mine anyways, is to force the streams to move past the same block of upgraded towers over and over again so I can maximize my upgrade bucks.

there is a difference between merging and using the same maze
merging means that theyt are more tightly grouped.. that is a bad thing
