  • Are You a Greek or a Roman?

Well, this is slightly oversimplified and will undoubtly provoke corrections from the more well read among readers of this forum, but here goes:

Romans: very practically minded, didn't produce any significant thinkers, writers or poets in their millenia of existance. Very determined in carrying through what they started, good organization, great plumbing. Not too bright, but down to earth and get stuff done.

Greeks: brilliant thinkers, very abstract, curious. Crappy infrastructure, lousy organizational skills, not that good at fighting (despite Spartaaaaa). People skills, talk a lot but everything can be negotiated. Lots of talent but live in barrels.

So, who do you identify with more?

By your description, I'm a Greek, though this can be argued as you got it pretty wrong, see...

If I choose "Bananastan," would I get to wear pants?

I disagree with that Romans didn't produce thinkers and poets (much less thinkers, true).

Greeks were good fighters. Otherwise, they wouldn't become so valued mercenaries and later they wouldn't have conquered so much.

            But I get the concept.
I am Byzantium - somewhere in between.

Erm, Byzantium was the other side of Greece from Rome

A combination of the two though.

I'd actually say very early Byzantine.

                    I'm technically 50% Roman and 50% barbarian
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
