You mean I am the greatest Filosofer? Thanks!

On a serious note I could see myself talking with Chomsky. He's smart, his position is pretty defensible (anarchism) and I don't think he'd ever pull the "I always have what you have +1" trick which is I think how Foucault won most of his debates.

Right. If that's your perception, it's OK. Each to their own. I support your freedom on that one.

I don't follow philosophy at all, but I'll venture a guess here. Today's philosophy is probably as fragmented and specialised as today's science. So instead of all-around philosophers we had up until 100 years ago now we probably have specialists which don't venture outside their area and thus arent widely known. Chomsky is probably well known partly because he'll talk just about anything

Well, Chomsky is not a philosopher to begin with. He has no framework, absolutely none and he doesn't even try to form one, because it's not his field.

But you can think it is so and keep being ignorant.

Of course Chomsky has a framework. He's an anarcho-syndicalist. Which is (I think) something like anarcho-capitalist (only to the left) which is something like libertarian. All those movements splintered over some details but anarchism is pretty reasonable in the basics. Every libertarian has a lot in common with Chomsky.

That's not a real framework though.

I'll get back to you when you have at least tried to introduce yourself into things.

How would an anarchist society build a factory or a dam? and how would it be organized? to keep it functioning properly?

Well, of what use is Foucault's framework?

                  - is it an elegant model of the world around us?
                  - does it fit in with past events?
                  - does it predict future in some respect?
                  - does it provide moral guidelines for daily life?

If I were to find it and read it, how would I benefit from it?

Playing detective work on someone's writings trying to figure out what he really meant is not something I consider great fun. I do that a lot with programming as it is

Voluntary cooperation. Is there no such thing in South America? . How was the Parana dam built? Cooperation.

Come on, that's anarchism 101. How would the justice system work, that's a more complex question. I've read some articles about it and buying and selling justice on private courts didn't convince me.

Foucault has no framework. If you would have actually read what I said in the past, you'd know this.

"Playing detective work on someone's writings trying to figure out what he really meant is not something I consider great fun. "

So admit it to yourself and leave it to others.

I think you are 30% Foucault-cured, but won't admit it

Why would I be offended? And if that was your ultimate goal, good luck with it.

Ouch, the PoMo crap Foucault spewed was painful for this Popperian to listen to.
