Don't drink alcohol beforehand. And talk an MP3 player with you, because you won;t be able to talk with the Dentist or his cute sec'try
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

I have one left - the others went with several years between. There was no pain when they were removed, but when the sadation lifted there was a couple of hours with a sore jawbone.

The worst is actually the crackling sound when the hole for the pulling tool is drilled (some kind of hand drill).

I had mine done a few years ago. The procedure was painless (save for a few tiny ****** on the gums with the needle), and the recovery swift.

The biggest source of discomfort was the experience of not being able to feel anything in the mouth while he sliced away, yet smelling that strong, iron smell that blood has when it's pooling in large quantities a couple of centimetres from my nose.

I had a tooth cracked playing football once, didnt bother me for about a year until it started splitting right into the gum and needed removing. The most painful part of it for me was when the dentist was rubbing the anesthetic around the tooth and his damn nail was pressing into my gum over and over, left a bloody bruise for days afterwards. Was kind of annoying the fact that my mouth was a dribbling wreck of blood for 2 days afterwards since the stitches weren't tight enough aswell.
Learn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world. Extend your awareness outward, beyond the self of body, to embrace the self of group and the self of humanity. The goals of the group and the greater race are transcendant, and to embrace them is to acheive enlightenment.

I had my wisdom teeth out, oh, about six years ago.
The doctor gave me an IV full of valium, then a laughing-gas mask. Before I left, they gave me my first dose of codeine or lortab or whatever my magic pill was.

Yeah, I have a big blank spot in my memory. No idea what happened that day at all.

and since you got the necessary procedure done , that means you "wanted' it and "liked" it ???
