  • How do you spend your lunch break?

When not constantly hitting the refresh button for Poly

This lunch break thing is new to me. On the ship we just ate in the wardroom, it was too much trouble to change uniforms and walk the pier to go anywhere.

Now, at my new job, I find it is great to head out and run errands and pick up a sandwich. Sort of breaks the day in half, especially since I get an odd hour and a half every day. I guess I could work out, but we do that in the morning.

    What about you guys?

(I am posting this on my lunch break, of course)

      Lunch break?

God, it must suck to have a job where you actually have to show up certain places at a certain hour...

I don't take a lunch break. I work whenever, and I eat when I'm hungry. I may put my feet up on the desk and keyboard on my lap, but I do that anyway.

I'm usually hungry when I eat lunch.
                  I don't eat when I'm not hungry. I don't eat until I'm full, but until I'm not hungry. That's how I keep from becoming a satchel-ass.
SOME of you need to pay attention to what I just said.

This hardworking American usually has lunch at his desk.

I usually bring it back to work with me, so I get the benefit of a lunch break, and then a good 20 minutes nobody wants to bother me while I eat

I like to look through the day's top stories, but most often I work through lunch.

Don't have an actual lunch break. I just kind of do things and .. like there is no schedule. I might take long breaks or frequent short breaks.
