I decided to buy another 18 pack of Pabst for $9.99. Not great beer but cheap and acceptable plus I'm trying to save cash lately so cheap beer is right up my ally.

Taxes, a new backyard patio, a new smoker BBQ, to take my girlfriend out, a new car, a new TV, another trip to Las Vegas, a trip to Spain, etc... In short everything.

I remember I drank this crappy Molson's canadian beer. My friend smuggled a whole bunch over the border. . He's from upstate New York and loves everything Canadian. Never understood why.

It had 3 x's on the label. I'm not sure if that was the brand name. Supposedly canadian beer so strong they can't sell in the U.S. It tasted like donkey piss. And I've drank lots of donkey piss over the years, so I know what I'm talking about.

I'd rather drink 2 or 3 watered down miller lights to get the same alcohol as one of those. At least it tastes halfway decent.

What good is high alcohol content if it tastes bad? Maybe canadians do not have taste buds. Judging by canadian bacon, that may be true.

You can't judge Canadian beer by Molson XXX! I don't know anyone who drinks it. I imagine the only people who would drink it are those who are trying to get as drunk as possible on as few beers as possible.

Most of our beers are between 5 and 5.5% alcohol, while light beers are about 4%. (As a comparison, Molson XXX is 7.3%.)

and even then, there are better beers than that. brewery Omegang's abbey ale or three philosphers lambic (8.5% and 9.6% respectively) should do the job nicely.

has anyone ever drank Miller high life? I know one older guy that drinks it. And older people were supposed to be wiser. I tried it, undrinkable really.

onto the subject of good beer, I had sin city amber the other day. Tasted pretty good. You ever had this when you were in Vegas Oerdin? Whatcha think?

I just looked it up trying to find a little info on it. Some reviews were really harsh. Saying it has that microbrew look, but tasted thin and had little head. I don't care about head .

Seriously, everyone thinks they are some pretentious beer critic. I don't give a **** what it looks like as long as it tastes good. I don't want some stupid head that doesn't go away like guiness. And I want something that is strong, tasty, yet smooth. Hasn't surpassed Newcastle in my book, but it's smooth and goes down easy.

The bad thing is it's a bit trendy, and I paid over $5 a glass at golden nugget. .

I then later got a much cheaper beer at Chicago Brewing company (inside four queens) that tasted almost as good. Granted, I'm not taste critic. I paid $3 for that one. Can't remember the exact brand, I'm bad with names. I just asked for something similar to newcastle.
