    Andy Warhol is overrated

    I don't get why he's so popular? Can anyone fill me in? What has he done of any significance? Why does everyone think he's so great? and his 15 minutes quote is inaccurate. I haven't had my 15 minutes yet. . I want it!

                      He's the guy who figured out that he could take a picture of a soup can, play with the colors, and sell the pictures for a lot of money.

                      He also took pictures of things that weren't soup cans at all, and played with the colours on them too. And made more money.

                      Pretty genius if you ask me!

                              I don't think andy warhol is popular anymore, except maybe in terms of kitsch.


                              The reason he's famous is because he produced alot of work, made a name for himself, and is often used as an example of the emerging post-modernist trend that was happening at the time.
