              I was actually expecting answers such as Daniel's is. It's not really a bad guess, pretty good intuition, just not suitable now.

              For example, when talking about cryptography, when you take a single bit away, the protection 'halves' itself, so that's always 50% with every bit. Because it can be either 0 or 1. So, that's why 128bit is considerably better than 127bit one. SO yeah, I figure that was good intuitive answer to say 50%.

                  just as a point of clarification (Ive not heard it) is X choose Y just a way of saying what you're using to find the binomial co-efficent?
