From what I've read, they are going to cover the generation before this one. So you will get to see a young Linderman, and Mr. Patrelli, and Mr. Dying Black Guy, and Hiro's dad.

Also, did you notice that went Hiro went back to Japan, the guy on the horse was his dad (Sulu). So I'm guessing that his dad's power is immortality. (or maybe he can time travel too, but that'd be kinda lame to have two with the same power).

I really liked McDowell as Linderman. Can we have the young McDowell as young Linderman ?

How did people notice that? IIRC, they all had masks on, I sure didn't recognize anyone.

        • Ozzy, if that's true that Hiro's Dad was on that Horse, then all that says to me is that he gained the immortality power when the eclipse happened.

          • It's also possible that Hiro's ancestor (assuming that is his ancestor) just looks a lot like Hiro's dad. You know, like, family resemblance and stuff? (They did it in the Back to the Future movies. The guy who played Biff the bully also played Biff's ancestor.) That being said, immortality would be a kinda cool power.

Another possibility is that this is actually Lt. Sulu sent back in time to save the past. This time, instead of saving whales, he's saving Hiro!

You know, don't you, that somebody, somewhere has already written that fanfic. I'm sure of it.

You can tell from people's eyes. I had a hunch it was his dad anyhow, they dropped lots of hints. So I made sure to look at the guy's eyes and sure enough it was him.

                  • Just saw the seventh episode of season 3. Lots of stuff happening in this season, I'm feeling a little dizzy of all the plot twists, persons, different futures and people who just disappear or come back. Speaking of which, where did Peter's cute girlfriend from Ireland go? The future he left her in because he didn't control his powers them haven't existed for a few futures now...

                      No one knows.

                          • this season > the 2nd season

I've been wondering what has happened to the Irish girlfriend too. I'm guessing the writers want to distance themselves from the 2nd season, so they're ignoring that bit of plot. But who knows, maybe we'll see her later this season in some sort of plot twist.

This season, we're seeing a few face-heel turns: Sylar is trying to be good; Peter is showing a dark side; and Mohinder is showing an even darker side.

Also this season, their pace of killing off characters hasn't slowed down. What's the count at now?

What I hate the most is that Peter lost all his powers thanks to his ******* father. Now he's useless. I liked Peter when he was Superman. What a shame he's a bit of a dumbass all the time. He could have fixed everything very quickly.
