Perhaps Rove has severe personal space/touching issues? I've known people who had a similar reaction to *anyone* touching them when they hadn't expressly invited it [eg handshake].

Crow and "An Inconvenient Truth" producer David walked over to the presidential adviser's table, where David suggested that Rove "take a new look at global warming." David said Rove was rude with her, but witnesses say David was very aggressive.

I suppose it depends on if you believe if she is serious about the 1 square rule she's advocating. If she's serious, I wouldn't let her touch me anywhere without using anti-bacterial soap in my presence. I'm sure someone, somewhere has researched this, but I wouldn't be surprised (especially in a large public venue with a lot of people in it) if the bacterial and viral counts were as high or higher from airborne and surface sources as from the hand of someone who just wiped their ass with toilet paper.
