  • I said something like that once Arrian, in front of classemate back when i was in high school, wasn't a day before I was accused of tryin to mass murder my classmates with guns, bombs, knives; luckly for me the law saw that it was a comment in poor taste, not an illegal threat. but yep thats what got me on the gov't radar, after interveiwing my classmates on my world domination plans, the SBI forwarded that information to the FBI. I kid you not about this this all really happened.

back in 2001 a leaked terrorist watch list had my name on it, as a minor threat, I complained and they removed the site and my name form the list, or did they hmm, I may never know....

    hence my paranoia.

I can sympathise with the urge to want to violently butcher people but unlike these fellows, I wanted to take it to a new level (millions dead (not genecide persay, just wholesale slaughter)), which unfortunately I lacked the resources to conduct, and therefore gave up on the whole idea...... *yawns*

Whats the point of doing that nonsense if you don't even do it the way you want to, my view..... so until I have the capacity to kill millions you all should be fairly safe, that should be a while I hope........ not if that demon has anything to do with it but... i digress........

We weren't there, so I'm not going to say whether or not the arrest was justifiable. It very well may not be.

But the fact remains that the kid is a ****ing moron.

          I will and it wasn't.

Unless the kid actually threatened to commit a violent act, or falsely warned of a violent act (e.g. calling in a fake bomb threat), he didn't do anything illegal. In fact, he might not have done anything wrong. Unless you think it'd be immoral to explain the possible motivations of the killer.

          That's not illegal.

Better still, lets do a MtGCarthy and go on a witch hunt locking up all the weirdos that write strange stuff - we can start with all the horror writers cos they've obviously got ****ed up imaginations. OMG they're going to kill people!!!

There's a few people on this forum that write ****ed up stuff and constantly go on about being depressed all the time - one's even posting in this thread... Quick MtG, we've got to lock him up before he kills people!
Nice to see your reading comprehension is as poor and selective as it's always been, but then again, you can't do anything but create strawmen and red herrings. I can't be bothered responding further to your distortions and drivel, so you'll have to amuse yourself by going back to sucking arab and Iranian ****.

Shouting fire in a crowded theater, anyone? First Amendment rights are not absolute.

Being in a "public" building or facility doesn't give you some superseding right to go on a rant and interfere with the operation or conduct of business in that public building - try going to your local city hall, courthouse, or other government facility and ranting away about your First Amendment rights, and see how long you get to do that before being thrown out or arrested if you don't cooperate with being thrown out.

Why don't you and Moby go off and have a nice, long 69 session together.

I have only known one arabic person. Her ex husband over there had many guns. He had money though. He wasn't dirt poor. Including fully automatic weapons which he would point at her when he was drunk (yes alcohol is illegal over there, but it can be obtained). He had at least 3 guns that I know of.

I really think the men over there are crazy. . But at least they have less school shootings.

Every state in the US of which I'm aware has a statute allowing police to detain suspects for questioning, and to arrest suspects on "suspicion of" certain charges pending further investigation as to whether the suspect is chargeable with the underlying crime. On a "suspicion of" charge, there is a statutory time limit in which the suspect must either be charged with the underlying offense or released outright.

The charge was "suspicion of interfering with staff, faculty or students of an education institution." Interfering with staff, faculty or students of an education institution is a violation of Colorado statutory law. There's a question of fact as to whether the totality of his conduct meets the statutory requirement for interference, and there may or may not be a question of law as to whether that statutory requirement passes constitutional muster, but you don't know jack **** more than the rest of us what actually transpired.

Meanwhile, the arrest on "suspicion" and court appearance the next day falls within that statute, so the arrest was technically valid.

Really, you're the one bleating about the fact that this guy wasn't whipped away to the funny farm the moment he started sounding a bit nuts...

That's right, run away when you get your arse whipped as usual - we all know you're scared they might take away your masturbation aid with the laser sight. It's evident by your laughable attempts at macho posturing that you need something with which to feel like a real man...

We all know what they say about men with guns and big cars and what they're lacking between their legs - I bet you're the type of meathead that wishes he had a Humvee...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Not true. Have you ever heard the story behind the origin of the honor system? Back in the early 1800s a University of Virginia professor found a student cheating and promptly abolished the young man's "gentleman's C". The young man took offense over having a mere hired teacher insult his gentleman's honor and proceeded to shoot the professor to death on the Campus Quadrangle one day. The staff of UVa were horrified and threatened to quit if something wasn't done to protect them from this sort of behavior. The administration thought up a plan whereby the student body would be responsible for supervising honesty and ethics. Hitherto if someone were to be murdered over a scandal it would be a student. If you examined American history a little closer I'm willing to bet that you'd probably find all sorts of violence over issues of "honor" on America's campuses in bygone days, it's just that they didn't have automatic weapons. For instance, I recall that Jefferson Davis was shot in the mouth over some matter of honor during his student days. Remember not only were the weapons single shot, and took a ridiculously long time to load, but they were also unreliable not only as to whether they would fire, but also as to the amount of damage that a shot would do. If a South Korean had shot Jeff Dvis with a 9mm Glock the history of the Confederacy would have been a bit different.
"I say shoot'em all and let God sort it out in the end!

CNN also learned Wednesday that in 2005 Cho was declared mentally ill by a Virginia special justice, who declared he was "an imminent danger" to himself, a court document states.

When a court declares you an imminent danger, why shouldn't you be shipped off to a funny farm?
