An Iranian classmate in HS claimed that the reason that Iranians are darker-skinned than Europeans is that the Arabs raped Iranian women en mass and thus "darkened" the gene pool back in the 7th century.

To his chagrin, Swedish racists tend to think of all Balkanites and Middle-easterners as interchangeable.

"300" shows the Persiansans as mutant like creatures. Iranians do acknoledge their ancestors were Persians and they are proud of it. Since the Iranians are decended from Persians, Iranians think "300" is calling them mutant like.
