Why the hell are we treating 17-year-olds as if they were 7 year olds?

It all started to go down hill once they let women walk around in public without a male escorting them.

Would you be Ok with treating 16 year olds as 7 year olds?

Are you kidding? The gay men I know love to go clothes shopping. They spend far to much time at the mall.

Campaign Against Violence, the group that organized the protest, said Mayfair's program hurts inner-city kids who can't get their parents to bring them to the mall.
Maybe those parents dont want their kids hanging out all day at the mall. Next they'll tell us movie theaters have to let 'em in for free because Mommy and Daddy wont get HBO.

The group said that to be a part of the community, the mall should provide a safe place for kids.
What is so safe about a mall?

Why should they be free babysitters for the community?

I don't understand it, but I know other girls who prefer it as well.

I prefer boyshorts/ultralowbriefs for the most part. Thongs are nice when playing some sports though. You don't have to worry about getting a wedgie since you'll have one the whole time anway.

I don't think teens should have to have parental supervision to go to the frigging mall. I mean, it's the MALL, teens normally hang out at the there and that been normal since who knows when.

My logic recognizes that the mall owners are not babysitters nor do malls exist as an after school program

No I'm not kidding. You're confusing two things:

clothes shopping and clothes (or any other kind of ) shopping in American-style shopping malls.

I have no serious objection to the former, but have a distinct aversion to the latter.

I don't know the phenomenon in its American entirety, but in Europe you find some kids hanging around at the malls and nothing ever happens. But then again they also do have their spots in their neighbourhoods and since cities are not as extended as in the US the overal situation is just a bit different.

What do kids do in American malls? Do they do drugs, shout, molest people? I wouldn't mind if they just fooled around that's normal.

And while it would be normal to kick people out who disturb the regular business, no entry for under 18s is just silly.
