WTF are you on about with noon? Typically April Fools are played on April 1st and debunked on April 2nd... I guess if you wanna be a purist you could insist on ending it April 1st itself, but surely 23:59 should be fine, in which case we were only like 4 or 5 hours off -- I simply wasn't near a computer sooner...

April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day, though not a holiday in its own right, is a notable day celebrated in many countries on April 1. The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends and neighbors, or sending them on fools' errands, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible. In some countries, April Fools' jokes (also called "April Fools") are only made before noon on 1 April.[1] It is also widely celebrated on the Internet.
edit: from further in the wiki article:
In some countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, the April 1 tradition requires jokes to be played before midday: if somebody pulls an April Fools' Trick after midday, then the person pulling the trick is actually considered the fool.Last edited by Wezil; April 3, 2007, 12:42."I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure." - Clarence Darrow

Figures. A nation of fools. How appropriate.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Sounds like someone was not happy that he was fooled .“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
