That's not what he's saying at his little conference....he said the campaign is strong and will continue.

But speaking Machivellianly, as for John, "suspending" his campaign, isn't all that bad. He comes off as Mr. Family Man, more concerned with his wife than with a bid for the Presidency. He gets lots of free publicity. And he gets an excuse for upcoming lousy poll numbers.

Now that it's in the bones, it's very bad news for her... that's how from the people I've known breast cancer usually becomes fatal (in the bones).

If it's so serious, I think he should stop his candidacy and tend to his wife's needs.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Strategically, as previously mentioned, even if all he wants is to win the presidency, he should suspend his campaign.
It's really so far before the primaries everything can happen. He'd get a lot of sympathy and voters wouldn't be incredibly tired of seeing his face come fall and winter.
On the other hand I'd rather not see him winAnd Breast Cancer=

My best guess
is that she will die within a year or two. Two of their kids are still pretty young. I would not continue to run, but then I'm not a politician.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”
