I don't actually own any condoms. I figure I'll stop by a convenience store if I ever need them. Should I ever get a girlfriend that I need them with I'll buy them.
Convenience stores are cool dry places. Sure they cost more than a drug store. But don't be cheap when it comes to sex.
In fact, that is the only time I would ever set foot in a convenience store (other than buying gas). That is their purpose. To service our addictions (sex, tobacco, alcohol, caffeine, and gasoline)
I just bought some from Wegmans. Along with Strawberries, Chocolate, and Hello Kitty band-aids. My mom drove me. She just waited in the car though, so I bought what I wanted.

I agree with Spiffor. Condoms are best (if having sex with many people) for STD pervention. Might as well double up on the anti-preggers prevention.
And you should be able to get it without your parents knowing. Schools should provide it, or clinics. Actually, my highschool provided free condoms I think (highest pregnancy rate in Oregon for a while).

I always carry a condom in my wallet but I'm careful to replace it every weekend (on Friday night). Though if we come back to my place, I'll use one from the "cool, dry place" where I store them, and girls will often keep their own little stashes (especially if they have a favourite flavour ). The one in the wallet is really only for emergencies.
Also, I carry my wallet in my front pocket, so I don't ever sit on it.

they never gave them out at my school either. Probably because of budget problems, and guys would put them down toilets.
There may be a clinic you can go to to get them.
They generally give you the cheapos though. . In the navy, they gave us lifestyle condoms. I guess that's a respected brand. But they weren't ribbed or anything like that. And no flavours.
Talk with your doc. it should be a confident patient/doc relationship (well, at least it is here - don't know how it works in US)
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
They did at mine, if you asked the right people. I was disgusted to hear on the news tonight that local enlgish high schools haven't had any type of sex education for the past handful of years.

Condoms are always a good idea when trying to avoid bad things related to sex. However, they are very imperfect to avoid pregnancies. Doc Strangelove has stories about it. A much safer thing to do is to take the contraceptive pill.
