    GM mosquito is developed to stop spread of malaria

    Serious concerns raised over Monsanto GM maize variety

    ???

    The first story is an innovative way of simply 'breeding out' malaria in mosquitoes, whereas the second story is basically chilling - where we risk losing control (what control we have!) over what we eat with potentially dangerous side-effects...

    The first story makes me want to embrace GM wholeheartedly - the second makes me want to run a mile...!

    Maybe we could just close down Monsanto and put the crooks who run it out of business - because it is the sort of stories you keep hearing about them that scares the bejeesus out of me!
