  • So I know what career I will have.

Basically I've been in this community for a good decade or so I think. Maybe just 9 years. Point is, now that graduation is a couple months away, I know what i will be doing afterwards.

I already told you field artillery if you followed the threads, but I found out I will be back in Texas, apparently with the 4th ID. I am really happy about all of this. It was my first choice.

            What's your role?

Don't worry about it, b. I'm four times your age, and I don't know what i'm doing with my life yet. That's why adults are always always asking kids what they want to be when they grow up. We're looking for ideas.

You've got to have some kind of plan though, just keep it relatively vague, that is all

I served in Iraq with both the 4th ID and the 1st ID so when it came time to choose a combat patch I could have taken either one. The 4th ID was so supportive and accepting of us while the 1st ID treated everyone not in the 1st ID like a dick so nearly my entire unit made a point of sewing on 4th ID patches.

No more than a year ahead..and since I'm very happy where I am now there's no change in sight for me.

The FBI is a good career, and you'll get a good pension when you retire.

As for your other persona, you are still young. The idea is to try several things to find out what you are good at.
