Perfection may fit in well here at Poly OT, but at any site which takes an interest in on on-topic content or a friendly environment for asking/answering questions, he doesn't fit in at all.
Perf rarely shows up in the on-topic parts of CFC.
I don't think CFC is any friendlier than here either. It's just that the relentless mingism of the mods force people to surpress their most sulphurous outbursts. Simmering embers of antagonism instead of open flames.

Look at the level of on-topic discussion at both places. Then look at my post again. Notice I didn't just say "friendly", I said, "friendly environment for asking/answering questions". Is there really any question which environment is better suited for such activity? At CFC you can be reasonably sure that when you're posting in an on-topic thread (at least in most forums) that it won't turn into a OT spam-fest, or a flame war. Here at Poly though, the most likely moderation for an on-topic discussion is to have it closed at 500 posts. If it's mindless drivel, or intelligent discussion, doesn't seem to matter much.
Clearly, CFC is superior as regards the on-topic fora. I was speaking of the off-topic fora, however.
