I wouldn't be so sure about that. People may be so incensed that they'll actually be more likely to vote (against Sanjaya) and watch (to make sure he's out next week). Hell, even Tony Kornheiser was calling for Sanjaya's removal this week; how many more media figures who wouldn't normally talk about American Idol will join the act this week?KH FOR OWNER!

To take an obvious troll seriously for a moment.
It is clear that he is the weakest singer left to anyone with hearing BUT
1. he is the only young guy left and teeny girls tend to vote for them regardless of ethnicity in every idol show I have ever heard about. Wasn't their some little nerdy guy last time out
2. Voteforthe worst HAS to have him as their pick ( I can't be assed to check) and that accounts for a good few powervoters that delight in keeping the worst around
3. Any time Simon is mean to someone it motivates voters
Add in some ethnic votes and he sticks around.
If its like previous idol shows, the week he does reasonably well and loses the votefortheworst and the "Simon is a meany" vote will be the week he goes. the fact he isn't very good will catch up with him.
AS for the show being crap ?? It is what it is. WE PVR it and I can watch the whole thing in about 10-15 minutes. I just listen to enough of each song to see if its worth listening to the rest-- I skip all the Ryan SEacrest and videos stuff although I did watch the hula thingYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto LuongoComment
