Well he seems to be in favor of physical conflict as well.

The fundies are acting within their legal rights, and as far as I have seen, have committed no violence. Again, if you have a link concerning violence by them, that would change my opinion.

The activists have been squatting on other people's property and when asked to leave they barricaded themselves inside and reacted violently to the police.

But yeah, it's ridiculous to say that the fundies have been fair and peaceful and the activists have been unfair and violent

and it is not at all unusual for an owner to want to go see a building (actually usually BEFORE buying it)-- If you would provide your evidence for this break-in stuff it would really help. I appreciate its probably a blog from I-hate-the-world123 but any source would beat what we have now.

Its different in that I don't see this group having any special rights. If Greenpeace had bought the building , or a labour union or the Marxist museum society or google ---- the identity doesn't matter. In every case the activists could be evicted . The intention is irrelevant to the end result

In this case, it's both though. The hippie hooligans had decades to buy the property for themselves. Hell they could have even outbid the people who actually did buy it. It's the hooligans that have been putting innocent lives at risk and throwing a violent hissy fit.

The only way it is different is that you believe that EVERYONE has the right to buy property and do whatever they want with it. So you don't disagree with what I am saying. I'm saying that you believe that political opponents should be able to buy property for the purpose of removing their enemies. You argee with that. Say "yes" for the love of God and stop being obtuse!

                              Nope--

I think I am pretty much aligned with Arrian on this one.

I don't want conflict. I would rather it is avoided.

But take the G-8 meetings- Every time they are held, activists come out from everywhere and there are protests that sometimes turn violent. Not having the meetings would avoid this but I think the governments HAVE to stand up and have the meetings.

Now you can be smart about it The Calgary meeting was actually held in a remote mountain resort where they had about 20 miles of buffer zone. There was a roadblock but with no fence to storm and no big police presence needed, things stayed pretty peaceful

What does that have to do with the behavior of the Fundies?
