It's violent if it is oppressive.

But the Christians could not "break into " a house that they own-- plus wasn't this a pretty free and open centre that people could just walk into. I don't have visions of locked doors
You can not walk into a house that you own until the occupants are evicted Mr. Law. And they Broke in. Yes the doors were locked.

Incidently, can the owner of a building "break in" ? If I'm renting and my landlord comes in w/o my consent I guess it would be "breaking in" or somesuch... hmm.

Landlords should have a key but they are only ( in most jurisdictions I have seen) entitled to use it in an "emergency" or on proper notice during normal business hours (or similar wording)

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

In this case, understandably, the council did not want the building to fall into political opponents of the activists. So they made a buy back agreement.

I don't have much need for police since I have no property and I don't care about using them such as the way that Faderhuset has used them here.

you have just warped so far into KID-LAND i dont believe there is ANY possible way for you to return to the planet Earth. If you are being robbed and beaten by hooligans, you will sure love some police to show up to help you.

Actually I would like a system where everyone can have a minimum standard of living and but where people can improve their position through work and skill. I do want a safe place for me and my children-- I don't deny that.

I have no intention of figting anybody and would only "fight" to protect my family

and I'm sure it is YOU that defines what is oppressive. You could probably make an argument that the arrest of the guy that steals my watch is oppressive.

depends on the terms of your lease. If you are renting without a lease, it would depend on local real estate law, I guess.

Thats unusual in itself. The city shouldn't care.

But obviously they didn't make a very good buyback arrangement if it were sidestepped by the simple use of a dummy corporation. THats not even hard to do.

                              • We know the motivations of the city council now, too?

I went back a re-read the articles posted in the OP... I saw no references to:

                                1) any invasion/assault by the Christian group on the activists pre-trial; or

                                2) the motivation of the city council wrt the buy-back

So where are you getting that from? I'm honestly curious.

Police aren't *just* there to protect property (though that's certainly a big part of it). They also help with, you know, murder, rape, etc.
