Duuude. It looks like a dusty ghost town from a Western outside my window :

      From the National Weather Service:
This Afternoon: Areas of blowing dust. Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Windy, with a west wind between 30 and 35 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph.
Areas?? More like half the state Neat looking, but freaky

      Linkgage: http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/gra.../Wx4_conus.png

I can even -smell- it ... time to get the windows resealed..
But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

You may have a point, but since my request is aimed against a known FBI agent provocateur I feel safe

Winds gusting up to 60 mph plagued much of North Texas Saturday afternoon, kicking up enough dust in some places to turn the sky orange.

Are you somehow saddened at the lack of snow? I'm not, it's a pain and makes things difficult. Lovely in pictures, not lovely in reality...and it turns brown or black in no time before melting and making everything flood...

b etor, why don't you somehow arrange for arrests on the charges of obnoxious behavior? You could have the jail cells filled in no time.

We got some snow this morning, much to my anger. No doubt the Federal government will be once more closed and i will have to go in *shakes fist*
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

Yeah, a whole cell block filled with polytubbies, that could be fun

Asher and a couple of others making passes on the guards.
Ned explaining the concepts of the Nedaverse.
KH insulting anyone in reach while teaching them.
Winston demanding an old fashioned cell.
                            Pekka ranting.
                            Mobby just insulting everyone.

the list is endless and the poor guards would soon get nervous breakdowns

Hope yu'll visit us if this happens

some sleet, then several inches of snow today, two of POTMs activities were canceled (just as well, as she had a sleepover last night) we've already shoveled the walk, made snow furniture, given the car a mohawk. Its quite lovely. But we MAY get a coating of ice tonight.

My love has gone to the warm lands.
Snow over my city, and the night is cold.
From the warm countries he will bring me a date.
The honey of the fig, the sweetness of carob.
And a caravan of camels laden with all good things.
Surely my heart's sun will return here.
And from there, he will bring an orange.

Snow over my city, resting like a tallit.
From the warm lands, what have you brought me?
Snow on my city, snow on my face.
And within the fruit are all my longings.
