                  Him and Crosby suck in the shoot out. Gretzky was the same way on breakaways and penalty shots (way lower numbers of goals from chances than you'd expect).

                    I know that.

                    It's been my observation that the worst goalies and skaters in game situations excel in the shootouts (Nummelin, Marc Denis for instance...)

                    Some of the best players (Gretzky, Crosby, Ovechkin, Iginla, Kiprusoff) are awful in the shootout.
