Ok, so I watch Predator 2 on TV ( I saw it in the cinema when it was released back in 1990) And it's soo bad. The script is stupid, the acting is either horribly over the top or just bad. Most of the time it's both... There's one scene in the beginning that shows the interior of the police station and they've crammed every ****ing cop show stereotype they could find in there. It's like watching a SNL parody. 
Danny Glover is immensly unconvincing as a Rambo-type cop, Bill Paxton is just annoying and Maria Conchita Alonso is doing her feisty latina cop character with such a brilliant badness it's a pleasure to watch. Almost every scene in this is movie is so poorly executed you laught at it and it's ridiculously violent to boot.
And yet, I like it! It's so bad it's over the top. You just sit there and you're captivated by the horrible acting and the plot with logical holes big enough to drive a truck through them. Unlike the original Predator this gives you a great deal of entertainment. But not as the director intended, I'm sure...
