Every individual values the same components of attractiveness when they are 40 that they did when they were 25. Very good.

        2. The population of available individuals stays the same over time. No one dies, no new individuals reach attachable age and enter the pool. Excellent.

          He thinks his model accurately depicts real world outcomes despite obviously flawed assumptions. I still say he will make it big as an economist if he so desires.

              This doesn't apply if you also legalize lesbian marriage, which I bet you didn't even considered

                  Actually it assumes all same-sex pairings are permitted.

                      Kuci, your license to use the word "proved" has been revoked.

                      Step away from the car, and lay the word on the ground. Don't ever touch the word again, you cannot be trusted with it.

                        Actually there is a huge modification

                        Hospitals can have a variable number of students depending upon their residency class

                        Students can only match 1 hospital

                        The resulting algorithm hugely favors the hospitals in getting their first choices.

                          Comment, X is Family
                          Initialize value of X, X=0
                          X= X+1
                          various stuff
                          Restore X to X=0

                          or something like that?
                          X=X+1?

                          That means X-X=1 no?

                          So 0=1...

                          Spec.

                            No Spec. It means you add 1 onto the value of the variable X. So if X=3, then after the computer reads that line, X=4.

                              Ok....computer programming. Hmmmm.

                              I'm not too good in that field.

                              I thought it worked the same as algebra.

                                In computer programming, when you're trying to see if one side of an equation is equal to another, you're usually going to have an "if" statement or some equivalent.

                                So if the computer were asked to compare X to X+1, it would come back saying the result of the comparison was false, as you so astutely did. And that can be useful sometimes.
