A long time ago in a forum much like this one there were two silly buggers named Yo Yo Yo Hey and Stewart Spink. They liked to cause trouble of various kinds.

During this time period there were several different factions among strategy gamers, those who followed Shelley, who followed Sid Meier, who followed Reynolds... and I don't even know who the CTP fans followed?

Anyways, people here were of course Sid or Brian men (and a few women). There was some freindly discussion between the different followers, and the people here naturally were in the Brian or Sid camp while others were in the Shelley camp.

At this time Apolyton was sort of part of the Heaven games network or something like that. At least there was an relationship there. Now the Heaven games network (or whatever it was called) had the site that was favored by the Shelley fans... and Spink and YYYH decided to call for the invasion of the forum (to harass the people there) at Apolyton.

They were of course already somewhat trouble makers, but in any case, it was decided by the Administration of the time that this coiuldn't be allowed, and they were permabanned.

Since that time both have come back, under different guises. Spink has actually spent quite some time here, and been banned under his DL/AE several more times I beleive. Currently he is known as Doddler, but he has had a million names and faces.

I think that the current administration thinks that this permabanning was silly, like I do, and wish to change the status (Officially).
