And yes, like I said, in most of the Old Testament books there's no problem with polytheism. But it's not as if the Bible explicetly allows polygamy. I think you don't understand my point, my point is that if it would be a man-inspired book it would be more male supporting, by in example (just an example) give more rights to males ie. to marry many wives.
The Bible does condemn polygamy implicitly btw. In all cases of polygamy in the Bible, the polygamy results in disasters.
