Grandpa Monk's sabotage handbook from WWII. Various nights in forty-something, Grandpa and fellow freedom fighters went to the woods to collect weapons and ammunition for the resistance. Somewhere along the way he picked up that precious manual and kept it for decades.
He's not all too good at expressing his feelings of love in words, so he gave me the thing knowing full well that I'd understand the significance. He never gave anything of the sort to his own children, because they wouldn't have appreciated it the way I do.Comment
