          Even that's really pushing it. The only thing "sci-fi" or even "speculative" about it is the doomsday machine, but it's simply a plot device that's never really explained and certainly never shown. The whole movie is about the absurdity of some of the Cold War mentality, so classifying it as anything remotely close to sci-fi is totally off base, IMO.

                    But in general I tend to like older movies.
