Paris or Michigan. You're sure easy to get along with.

I almost went and did my Ph.D. in Michigan but went to Slovenia instead.
                      Does that count?

Sadly I don't live near ann arbor, unless Chicago counts.

as long as you're willing to go to University of Michigan and copy for me a couple of pages of one PhD made there....

There are stuff I need in Paris as well...
                          hm.

My recent idea was to go for a year of Erasmus, Socrates, whatever studies in Turkey, but I think I'll, with aching heart, apply for Paris instead - at least it will be of some use for me apart from practicing the language

Dude, avoid Erasmus and all these other sorry ass programs. It's like the 'so you're on welfare as a career choice?'.

Apply directly, get funding (scholarships, loans, what ever), succeed, be a superstar, buy a wife, divorce her, get a younger one, die having sex with a 20 year old while you're 90+.

OR join Erasmus, become a loser, die from depression.
                            In da butt.
