I've been having a sleep problem as of late. I've always had trouble getting to sleep, but since Christmas it has been far far worse.
My sleep pattern over the past couple days has been as follows:
Sunday: Asleep at 6AM. Awoke at 3PM.
Monday: Asleep at 7AM. Awoke at 4:00PM.
Tuesday: Fell asleep at 8AM. Awoke at 11AM. Fell asleep at 9PM. Awoke at 11PM.
And I'm not tired anymore. During and after the Christmas holiday, my sleep schedule fractured into two parts: I would fall asleep at 00:00 (12), awaken at 05:00 (5AM), then fall asleep again at 12:00 (12), and awaken again at 17:00 (5PM).
I wanted to use the opportunity today to correct my sleep schedule by staying up, and by the time I fell asleep I was very tired. But now I'm fine again, and its a little concerning to me, because:
A) It seems that within the past day I haven't gotten much sleep, and I would expect to be very tired right now.
B) It seems to be stubbornly resisting my attempts at correcting it, which is bad, because I'm asleep when I need to be awake.
Please help.
