  • Okay I'm stupid, how do I setup a Blue tooth?

I'm thinking I'm missing something. The instructions for one. Stupid box didn't come with instruction. Just a bunch of precautions I don't give a **** about.

I'm thinking there has to be something that plugs into the data port of my phone? How else would the phone be able to transmit to the bluetooth? I'm missing something. I go to turn on, and try to find the blue tooth, but it can't find it.

This is a Motorola Razr phone btw.

Braid your hair. Get an axe. Get a boat. Go sailing up the nearest river and plunder all that are unfortunate enough to fall in your path.

      Oh.

      Wrong Blue Tooth.

      Sorry.

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

Open your Connections folder, switch Bluetooth connection on. Plug your Bluetooth device into your pc, open Control Panel, click My Bluetooth Devices, Search

Sound advice for the few that actually do it.

PC? What the hell are you guys talking about?

I'm talking about bluetooth for a RAzr phone. I have no way of connecting this phone to the PC.

The Bluetooth hardware is already inside your phone, and it is manually activated from the Connections menu. In order to do SOMETHING with your Bluetooth connection, it has to be linked to something else. A laptop, a pda, a microwave oven. When they are linked, they can share data. If you don't have any other Bluetooth device at home that can be linked to your phone, you might as well sue someone for moral damage.

hmm, perhaps I'm using the wrong word here. I'll figure it out from the girl at work tomorrow.

I wasn't talking about a bluetooth connection to a laptop or PC. Though I am curious how much those would cost. Anyone know?

I'm only talking about a wireless headset. If the transmitting device is inside the phone as you say (I can't see why it wouldn't be). So I turn the earpiece on, and turn on the bluetooth on the phone. then try to find it from the phone, and it can't find it.
