And Sufism and Sunni Islam are two different things.
Even though most people think of Islam as being Shi'ite and Sunni, there is much more distinction than just those two divisions. There are six major tendencies of Islam... and within these tendencies, many different typologies of jurisprudence that is followed.
Many ignorant people (not just posters from India) make the mistake of generalizing Islam into a single religion, or even just the two factions of Sunni and Shia. Islam is by no means monolithic. There is no single theology of Islam.
Ignorant people should try to learn more about the religion and the culture before they try and criticize it. After all, how can you be critical of something if you know jack**** about it?To us, it is the BEAST.Comment
