                Yeah, it must be pretty annoying that people then add further 10-15 years to those 10

                  Being called sir didn't bother me that much. Most of the time is was just a term of respect. It's when they started calling me "MR. (insert last name)" that I started getting annoyed. My father isn't dead yet. He's MR.
                  So yes, I must be getting old.
                  It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

                              When I was in high school we had to call all the teachers "sir". I just recently broke the habit of calling every male over 30 that.

                                I'm trying to bring back the old English way of referring to unmarried men as "master" instead of "mister." But for some reason, I just can't get women to call me "master."
