That's easy. Richardson, by a mile. He's actually been a chief executive, he's run a cabinet department, and he's been a high-level diplomat. Nothing on Hillary's resume even gets close to that; he big First Lady initiative was a titanic failure that it took the Clinton Administration years to recover from, and her one term as a Senator has been completely lackluster.

I've been talking about Richardson as a possible candidate for a while now; if he's in, he might well be the horse I back.

richardson was gov of New mexico for a few years, Hilarly was co-governor of Ark for a lot more years.

Hilary took on a huge high risk issue, in her first two years in DC, was hit bady a HUGE expenditure of money against her plan, and continued to be a key part of the admin, IIUC. As compared to Richardson, who transformed US energy policy - not. Instead some of the admins more embarrasing moments, spy scandals at Los Alamos, etc took place on his watch.


Im not ruling Richardson out, but the notion of a slam dunk based on his resume is not right, i think.
