        I don't think I'd change mine, it'd be such a hassle for myself and lots of other people. Just the other day I had to change someone's username and email login on the company server (We use the standard first initial last name scheme) and it was a real pain...

              Unlikely. My family name is commoner than mud and more plebeian than moonshine, and I like it that way.

                  I don't have to worry about it, since I'm already married. My wife's maiden name was a perfectly good one, but I wouldn't have been interested in switching to it myself. Not that it ever came up.

                  I didn't put any pressure on my wife to take my name, but she chose to do so.

                    I don't mind at all about taking the womans name. I do want a number (greater than 2) children though.
