wrestling only? so no submissions? That's not complete, you need submissions. Wrestling will give you a good base and takedowns, and ground control, but no submissions. Other than that, I agree.

that would be judo. jujitsu is basically a ritualized form of gory pit fighting. brazilian jujitsu is the same, only seasoned with some more artsy kicks from capoera.

Excuse me, but
What is your point? Is it good for self-defense, yes or no?
my point, take watever and you will pretty much learn all. just because its tae kwon do doesnt mean u dont learn grapple and judo mean u dont strike at all either. its not wat u TAKE thats good for self D, its how much EFFORT u put learning that will be good for self D.
Jew Jutsu (Jap., lit. "Jew Art") is the ancient technique of winning a fight by making your opponent feel bad for hitting you. It's not a very effective means to victory for those without considerable stamina and tolerance for pain; however, with sufficient training and discipline a practitioner can accomplish such techniques as the "Ryuko-no-dasi-stein" ("Entertainment-media deathgrip") and "Goldberg-waza-hai-mono" ("Chi energy usury buildup"), making masters almost invincible. The most popular school is the simplistic Burning Matzoh style, but others exist, including the flashier Spinning Dreidel and the sparse, ruthless Star of David.
With that said, you're better off just taking the easy way out and learning Abir, really.

Nice way to start an argument though, what you are doing is arguing about semantics, where we both agree, but yet you seem to want to start some crap. Go home, Straybow-san, the world can survive without you!
Speak for yourself. This is OT; of course there is crap to start! The MMA you laud is not so far removed from the "McDojo" you impugn. They are both sport-oriented.
That said, BJJ is as good a place to start as any.

None of this is even close to true. Check your facts.

considering i studied both for a number of years, i know i'm not wholly accurate, but close enough for layman's terms.
