Re: Chavez once again porves he's a tin pot dictator in the making.

That's utterly useless right now (the Parliament overwhelmingly supports him). This clearly indicates his willingness of centering everything on his own power.

The autonomy of the central bank is among the most anti-democratic concepts in current capitalism.

Utilities are an unavoidable service to the population. There is no reason to make them private, considering the Venezualian capitalists' hostility against the general population.

More wealth going in the pockets of the Venezuelian people instead of US shareholders always equals "good".
The constitution needs to be changed in order to remove the independence of the central bank, too.
So far, the country does much, much, much better than under capitalist rule. There's a reason his radically socialist approach landed him 60%, against a coalition opponent who was a social-democrat. The Venezuelians can see the difference between oil-money getting in their pockets, and the old times.

Chavez hasn't declared exactly how he wants to modify the constitution this time however just about everyone believes Chavez is going to remove all term limits thus allowing himself to remain as President for as long as he likes.
The man is a fool and so are anyone who believes he won't wreck his country.
