believe it or not, there ARE unions in Florida. When I participated in Jacksonville Young Democrats, I met not a few trade unionists. I wonder how many degrees of seperation there really are between me and Guev down that path.

Not really, no. I think 3rd partyism was dealt a serious blow by the 2000 election. My guess is the left wing of the Dems will hold their nose and vote Dem for a generation now. There are two reasons the GOP lost: the right-wing Christians stayed home and the moderates finally began to turn against the war.

Be that as it may, I am strongly considering running in 2008.

We'll see. We are actually starting one this month. We occasionally show a film for our antiwar group, but we're starting a midnight movie madness thing now too in a local art house theater.
